Before

Circlemind is an open-source RAG using knowledge graphs and PageRank.

After

Circlemind makes general AI agents

Full description — before

Circlemind is developing the next-generation of memory systems for AI that surpasses current Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) methods. Our technology based on Knowledge Graphs and PageRank, allows for efficient, interpretable, and context-aware reasoning and retrieval.

Full description — after

We make general AI agents that can complete tasks independently. Our first general agent is called Zero. It can complete tasks across internal tools and 300+ apps using MCP servers, such as Apollo, Slack, Gmail, Notion, etc. It can take over many self-contained tasks, giving your team longer legs to run faster. It runs entirely in the cloud. This means that you can have swarms of agents completing hundreds of tasks while you’re focusing on what really matters. You can connect Zero to the applications you use or your custom MCP servers, and then just give it any task and watch it work for you. Zero is engineered to think deeply, execute complex tasks, and even maintain a personalized memory of your interactions. A few notable features: - Built-in autonomy levels, permissions, guardrails, and human approvals - Custom instructions to teach Zero how to do things your way - Automations e.g. run a task every day or whenever I receive an email - Connect to your custom MCPs - Connect to 300+ apps with one-click integrations - Natively integrates deep research and browser use

Summary

Circlemind shifted from building foundational AI memory/retrieval systems (RAG with knowledge graphs) to providing general AI agents that autonomously complete tasks across apps. This is a full pivot: the company moved from developing infrastructure technology for AI reasoning/memory to delivering autonomous AI agents for workflow automation.
